Cindy Barkei RN BSN
Certified Healing Touch practitioner and Holistic Nurse who has practiced in the area of nursing within traditional medicine for more than 30 years and now integrates complementary/alternative healing into her nursing practice.

Karla Barker OSF MA
Masters in Culture and Creation Spirituality, has a background in education, administration, and spiritual direction. Through ritual and dialogue, Karla integrates Christian and Native wisdom.

Judy Cannato MEd MA
Author of Radical Amazement and Field of Compassion:  How the New Cosmology Is Transforming Spiritual Life, scheduled for release in March 2010.  Judy facilitates retreats that invite participants to respond contemplatively to the Universe Story and the conscious evolution that it implies.

Susan Pannier-Cass BS KRI
Certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, SuperHealth Trained (addiction recovery program),
has taught yoga since 2001 and is dedicated to assisting students in finding practical and simple ways to have greater endurance, wholeness and balance in their lives.

Rev. Jim Conlon PhD
Author, teacher, priest and director of Sophia Center at Holy Name University.  Among his publications are At the Edge of Our Longing, Sacred Impulse, Ponderings from the Precipice, From the Stars to the Street, and Beauty, Wonder and Belonging: a Book of Hours for the Monastery of the Cosmos.

Sharon Culhane OP
Director of Sea of Peace, House of Prayer in Edisto Island, S.C., an educator and artist, studied at Chicago Art Institute.  Sharon presently is involved in creative graphics and retreat-work.

Kathleen Deignan CND PhD
Artist and composer of sacred and liturgical song, Kathleen holds a master’s degree in the history of Christian Spirituality and a doctorate in Historical Theology from Fordham University where she studied with Fr. Thomas Berry.  Kathleen is Professor of Religious Studies and founder of the Iona Spirituality Institute in New Rochelle, NY.

Sherry Dolan RSM
Artist, spiritual director, master teacher of intuitive painting, is currently the Director of Art for Healing at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. Sherry, an “advocate for Earth,” seeks ways to bring others to awareness of our oneness with all Creation.

Patricia F. Frisch PhD
Author, former director of a spiritual life center, earned her doctorate from Loyola College in Maryland. Patricia has sixteen years experience as pastoral counselor in faith formation.

Dot Goodwin
Full-time visual artist for twenty-five years, member of the oldest studio/gallery in S.C. and is the director of art for the downtown Camden Guild.  Dot facilitates monthly prayer circles and carries the medicine of the drum.

Marya Grathwohl OSF
Author, lecturer, Earth minister, retreat director, has degrees in Creation Spirituality, Philosophy, Cosmology, and Earth literacy.  Marya currently lives at San Benito Monastery in Dayton, Wyoming.

Richard B. Guess MEd
Executive Director of a community mental health center, a native South Carolinian with 25 years of experience in the field of human services.  Being of Cherokee heritage, Richard brings a deep respect for all life.     

Margie Hosch OSF
Has provided marriage and family counseling for the past 20 years and co-authored the Wholeness/ Holiness Retreat.  Margie conducts days and weekends of renewal for Christian Women’s groups.

Wendy Kraus MS CAS
Psychotherapist specializing in addictions and healing trauma. She is a long-time friend of Springbank and has received spiritual direction from elders on the (Native) Red Road. Wendy assists Grandmother June Perry with many of her educational and spiritual presentations.

Justina Lasley MA
A leading dream specialist who enjoys working with individuals and groups to unlock the wisdom of their unconscious.  Justina is internationally recognized as a leader of individual and group work, a lecturer and qualitative researcher.

Miriam MacGillis OP
Co-founder of Genesis Farm where she teaches and practices biodynamic methods of agriculture, which are in tune with the natural rhythms of Earth. Miriam teaches and coordinates programs on the work of Thomas Berry and the New Cosmology.

Louise McCormick RN MS
Co-founder and president of the McCormick Green Center for Holistic Therapies, is certified in herbal, aroma, cranio-sacral, and Thai massage therapies.

Carolyn McDade
Committed to the power of human voice singing and speaking truth to move society to transformation and to deepen human consciousness of ourselves as part of Earth community.  Carolyn’s songs empower personal integrity, social vision, and planetary wholeness.

Ed McGaa (Eagle Man)
Oglala Sioux, teacher, lawyer, lecturer, strong environmental advocate, and author of seven books, his latest book, Creator’s Code, Planetary Survival & Beyond.  Eagle Man is tireless in his pursuit to live and promote Black Elk’s vision of Oneness and interdependence of all beings.

With a master’s degree in counseling and an undergraduate degree in fine arts has been deeply interested in Native American spiritual practices for more than 30 years.

Author, lecturer, and spiritual director with a focus on weaving the new, emerging, creative consciousness with Christianity and other spiritual traditions.

Jan Novotka MA
Songwriter, retreat director draws her inspiration from the Universe and the Emerging Consciousness.  Jan is a trained wilderness / vision fast guide and Master Gardener/Organic Gardening Consultant.

Grandmother June Perry
Elder, teacher, storyteller, artist, and drummaker who travels across the country sharing her Native wisdom, culture, and spirituality.  Grandmother June leads ceremonies in both the Lakota and Cherokee traditions.

Jan Phillips
Visionary thought leader, award-winning author and dynamic speaker. She creates a unique multi-media sensory experience weaving humor, storytelling, captivating imagery and music to inspire and ignite insights for life-changing action.  Jan shows people how to access their wisdom, activate their own creative energy and communicate with passion and power

Helen Prejean CSJ
Author of Dead Man Walking, known internationally for her tireless work against the death penalty, Helen was instrumental in sparking national dialogue on the issue and in shaping the Catholic Church’s vigorous opposition to all state executions

Pepper Sarnoff MA MS
Licensed professional marriage and family therapist, an educator, a facilitator for the Well-Springs program, and a founding member of Lifedance. Pepper brings her experience in the expressive arts and interactive creativity to groups she facilitates.

Dan Shelton PhD EdD
Facilitator/guide recently completed an MS PhD in Ecopsychology whose art and method of education is non-conventional and experiential.  Dan has over twenty years experience helping people rediscover the peace of their innate human-nature relationship.

Sandra Smith MDiv
Co-founder and director of Holy Ground, a retreat ministry in Asheville, NC, creates and leads beginning and advanced Enneagram classes pairing the Enneagram with the spiritual journey.  She has been teaching the Enneagram as a tool for personal, professional and spiritual growth since 2002.

Family Nurse Practitioner and spiritual director who leads retreats on the contemplative art of basket-making.

Licensed massage therapist, body-worker, founder and co-director of the Massage Therapy program in Florence, SC.  Faye, with a background in music, has participated as a facilitator in the Well-Springs workshops over the last 12 years.

David Valtierra CO
Oratorian Priest, Director of the Spirituality Center in Rock Hill, SC.  Father David facilitates several on- going groups in Scripture study and prayer at the Oratory and local parishes in York County.

Christopher Marie Wagner OSF MFA
Art Instructor for 30 years.  Chris restores stained-glass windows and is dedicated to the study of iconography in the Russian style

Claire Whalen OSF
Certified T’ai Chi Chih instructor.  Claire invites TCC practitioners to a re-telling of the Universe Story through the basic TCC movements. She has spent the last 14 years at Michaela Farm in Oldenburg, Indiana, promoting sustainable agriculture and “deep ecology.”

Gail Worcelo sgm
Co-founder with Bernadette Boswtick and Father Thomas Berry, CP of Green Mountain Monastery, a New Monastic Community in Vermont whose mission is the healing and protection of Earth and its life-systems.  Gail has given retreats around the world on the works of Thomas Berry and Religious Life as it enters its Cosmological Phase.
